What does a Fox Pools & Spas Pool Opening Service include?

Fox Pools & Spas offers two options for pool openings – a full opening and a lines only pool opening for both in-ground and above-ground pools.

A full pool opening includes:

  • Cover cleaning, removal and storage
  • Reassembly & de-winterization of filter, pump, heater, chlorinator, salt system, etc. ( if those apply)
  • General pool cleaning – on cloudy/green pools, out tech will vacuum to the best of their ability (blind vac)
  • Add shock, algaecide, and Pool Opening Complete in order to balance your alkalinity and pH
  • Cleaning coping, water ring, and deck area that was under cover
  • A water sample should be brought into the store within 24-48 hours
  • Note:  on above-ground pools, if water level is not high enough (skimmer level) the homeowner will have to start system after we leave.

A lines only opening includes:

  • Reassembly & de-winterization of filter, pump, heater, chlorinator or salt system, etc. (if those apply)
  • Lines only does not include:  pool cleaning, chemicals or cover removal
