Sundek

Sundek is a texture paint that is applied on your broom finished concrete pool deck. It is a decorative application, but it does so much more than that.

The Classic Texture coating provides a slip-resistant texture to your pool deck. It also makes the concrete cooler and is very comfortable to walk on with bare feet. The non-porous properties of the material keep dirt, chemicals and oils from penetrating the surface which protects the concrete.

How it’s done:

The Sundek Classic Texture is an acrylic water-base texture spray system which is applied to your pool deck. Once sprayed on, it is then “knocked” down with a trowel. After it dries, an acrylic finish coat is applied in 2 coats. The finish coat is what gives the coating it’s final color and protection.
